The Pink Panther buys a used car from a dealership, and redecorates it with pink lacquer spray paint. However, the car has a mind of its own; on the Panther's first drive about town, his car's competitive attitude lands the Panther in an unintentional race with Granny Flash, Senior Citizens Drag Champion, who drives a souped-up Model T.
